The Rides Of Life

the gig was great!!! Thank God for His presence!!!
really felt it in the place... i know He's touched some lives
and rekindled some flickering flames....
but i'm quite surprised that i open myself up more tonight
to approach people and talk to them....
instead on shunning away from people and just staying in my comfort zone

I can really feel that God wants C.O.T to move to greater heights
only if we let Him lead... only if we work within ourselves first
God be our guide, for it's You who gives us directions....
it's You who gives us strength......
it's nothing without You...........

hung around after parousia ended.... talking to people, playing 'satay' football
breaking barriers.... after that we had supper down at a prata house....
walked down for about 1/2 hr or more to get to the place....... jia latz!!! =)

tired, but i feel a sense of contentment somehow......
hey, i just realised that it's the 1st of March..... haha
how time flies, 27 more days and *sings* i'm leaving on a jetplane.....

Had a relak day at work today..... no MO, no work.... wicked! =)
man, jamming last night was amazing....
before the actual practise, we spent the time to actually praise n worship God
took the time to put all our burdens and troubles at His feet
and let Him lead this band, our ministry......
what happened after that was superb.....
the playing was so much tighter, so much more powerful
i can really feel His presence in the room.....
COT's sound is evolving, it's fantastic......
give God all the praise...... =)


it's about a month from now before i'm leaving to the UK.
the excitment grows each day..... can't wait
got a banana cake to learn....

Finally, after 2 months for excruciating pain.....
I finally pass my IPPT!!! woohoo!!!
No more early 5.30am wakeups on sunday mornings....
No more long journeys to the stupid camp at CCK....
No more whining from my officers!!!
Praise God!!! He gives me strength!!!

Guess all the trips to the gym and the jogging paid off....
I lost like 2 kg..... i'm 68kg now..... haha
Wanna keep in shape though.....
Kinda addicted to going to the gym.....

Anyway, COT will be having a gig this friday with Parousia at the 3rd Place
Starts @ 7.30pm.... looking forward to it.... =)

went to the National Skin Centre today. The doc told me that my lips was getting worse becuz i kept on licking them when they're dry
naturally one would do that, but he says it makes it worse.
gave me some medicated lip balm to apply

back to work, in the afternoon.... same old, same old
went to the 3rd Place in the evening for a art exibit cum mime presentation
good stuff i must say, got to know more about mime-ing too.
went down to zouk, was outside but decided not to go after all....
instead i went to a prata house with my bro jerome and we had a good chat till 1.30am

gonna jam with the 'project band' that we have tomorrow.....
there's gonna be some valentine's day celebration in church.....
then photo taking with Fu for COT's website......

had the commander's parade today..... dread it.....
it's like a parade inspection by the Assistant Commisionner (AC)
had to stand for about 1 1/2hr!!!

well, not too bad for me, cuz we medics are standing on the side
just in case anybody faints......
so far this is the best parade..... only one person fainted......
normally there would be about 4-5 of them.....

the day continues normally..... went to the gym afterwards......
boring routine life..... but it's ok lah i guess.....
everytime i complain, i will think of the boys who have to stay in camp for their whole NS life.....
then i feel grateful that i'm only working 8-5, office hours.....

it's valentine's day tomorrow..... alone i will spend it, no partner this year.....
oh well, valentine's day to me is like another money making scheme.....
think i shouldn't go down to town, cuz i'll see couples with flowers everywhere.... geez
will be going down to an art exibit cum mime performance held at the 3rd Place with jerome & tim
probably might head down to Phuture to check out the vibes.....

I WANNA GO VELVET!!!! hehe........

It's a drowsy day........ went to work, raining in the morning
took the medicine again and knocked out till lunch time.... shoiks
took early departure to renew my stupid EZlink card at Buena Vista
half way there, they called and said i can do it tomorrow at any top up branch
geeez....... went for a hair cut. almost dozed off when the bugger was shaving almost my whole head off
when he's done, i realised that i had a square top hair cut.... haha, amusing though....
well, i dun really give a damn now about my looks or what kind of hair style i have and shit like that
guess i grew out of that..... oh well....

slept again when i got back..... what a shoik day
SLEEPING IS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! =)
gonna pump more iron at the gym tomorrow.....

usual day, back to camp..... back to work
lips are still swollen.... got some medicine from the doc
took one pill for the inflammation and boy, did it made me drowsy....
woke up a little when i worked out at the gym....

sore and tired......

went to Geylang for a Fish Soup dinner...... quite nice....
after that, my friends wanted to visit the 'other side' of geylang
so we went to see the 'fish tanks'..... hehe
man, i must say, they all look the same......
or maybe it's the cheesy neon lights..... hehe

we had a tour guide, courtesy of one of my pals, who frequents the place.... hehe
he brought us to the back alleys which all the underground happenings take place.....
eye opener sia, literally....... hehe
oh well...... bed time...... work again tomorrow........

Well well, Liverpool has done well again....
3-0 victory at West Ham.......
I must say the lads have woken up baby!!!

wah, has it been that long since i updated my blog?
hmm, slacking too much..... hehe. pure laziness.....
my lips are abit swollen...... they have been peeling ever since the Perhentian trip
damn..... wonder what's wrong..... must be some allergy or something......
camp doc says it's alright...... my ass, it's alright.....
need to make a trip down to the National Skin Centre......
get proper help..... or advice..... seem to have a problem with my skin......
